FileNexus is an open, powerful application that is scaleable from the department to the enterprise – using your existing infrastructure. FileNexus is a threaded multi-tier application that supports single or clustered server configurations, depending on your need.

FileNexus is capable of storing and managing virtually an unlimited amount of information, of any type and from any source, by way of any combination of storage solution technologies (i.e., RAID, Optical, and NAS, etc.) – in any combination of on-line, near-on-line and off-line “fire safe” configurations.

FileNexus offers client (most Windows PCs) and browser retrieval options – both fully functional over WAN, LAN, or Internet connections. FileNexus offers full two-way integration with virtually any Host Application and/or Web Server by way of web services and/or ActiveX programming interfaces.

FileNexus is an “out-of-the-box” application that is up and running fast – typical deployment times for single projects being about a week. FileNexus can be customized to automate business processes (e.g., inbound, outbound, rules-based routing, etc.) by way of industry standard VB Scripting.

FileNexus is extremely easy to maintain and uses the latest Microsoft Windows operating systems and SQL database technologies. FileNexus also supports automatic password updates from Microsoft Active Directory.

FileNexus maintains a single, cohesive index database for all data – regardless of type or source.

FileNexus supports the storage of virtually any data in its native file format, offers automated conversion (at your discretion) of files such as text, image, and PCL into PDF formats. Scanned files are stored in industry standard TIF format.

FileNexus offers an embedded suit of security and tracking features that provide major advantages with respect to compliance concerns.
